The Warren County Community College Visiting Authors Series resumes on Wednesday, November 13, with a recitation by Traditional Irish Storyteller Juilene Osborne-McKnight. This event, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Room 123A, is free and open to the public.

Osborne-McKnight is the author of four Irish historical novels from MacMillan: I am of Irelaunde, Daughter of Ireland, Bright Sword of Ireland and Song of Ireland. Her journalistic Irish history, The Story we Carry in our Bones: Irish History for Americans, is entering its third printing in paperback this fall. She is the founder and director of the MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing at DeSales University. Osborne-McKnight is also a seanchai, or traditional storyteller, in the ancient Irish tradition.

The Visiting Authors Series is supported by a grant from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission. All facilities comply with ADA regulations and are fully accessible. Sign language interpreters are available with two weeks’ notice.
