From the Halls of Warren Hills: Oct. 21, 2020

EVENTS

This year, the Warren Hills Drama Club will present a virtual play! “Do You Read Me?” is a space comedy about community, which follows a Mars mission trying to grow the first eggplant on the red planet. It was written especially for actors performing on video chat.

The cast of 20 will rehearse entirely virtually, record two live versions of the scenes, and splice them together for public presentation later in the semester. More information to come.

The friendly rivalry between Warren Hills and Hackettstown High Schools goes beyond sports. Again this year, the schools are hosting “Battle of the Food Banks” to see which school can collect more nonperishable goods for local food pantries!

The student councils at each school are organizing the event, which collected about 800 items last year for local food pantries. This year, they hope to break 1,000. Warren Hills was the winning school last year.

The collection runs through Nov. 6 and the winner will be announced at the Hackettstown-Warren Hills football game that night.
