Jenny Cat, who recently was part of the Blues Bash at Centenary College, brings her special musical sounds to the historic Inn at Millrace Pond in Hope, kicking off the Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, May 27.
Cat, who hails from Central Jersey, queues up both covers and originals. The singer-songwriter, who sometimes plays with the band Jenny Cat and the Felines, engages her audiences with tunes that capture a mood.
The Inn, a B&B as well with 17 unique sleeping rooms, offers music every Friday night throughout the year, from 7 to 9 p.m., usually in the Tavern but during the warmer seasons, outside on the patio weather permitting.
Cat kicks off the warm weather season followed by several other talented performers in June:
June 3, Zack Russack
June 10, Scott Messina
June 17, Dan Fadel & Mike Tichy
June 24, Michael Long
The Inn has a full menu, from light fare to steaks, chicken and fish, and an assortment of craft beers and fine wines. There is no charge for the music. Reservations, though, are recommended.
The Inn at Millrace Pond is located just minutes from Route 80, Exit 12. To make a reservation, call 908-459-4884.
