The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community has scheduled two exciting trips for this fall.

On Saturday Sept. 26 the public is invited to join in on the fun when The House takes a bus trip to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pa. A week later, on Saturday Oct. 3, The House will be going to Peddler’s Village in New Hope, Pa.

Both bus trips, which leave from The House parking lot, are open to the public. Both are rain or shine.

The Sands trip begins at 9 a.m. sharp. There is a non-fundable cost of $25 for the bus, with attendees getting $20 back in slots money and a $5 voucher for food. Attendees will also receive a coupon book for stores located at the casino. For this trip, participants must be at least 21 years old.

The trip to Peddler’s Villages leaves The House parking lot at 10 a.m. and will return at approximately 5 p.m. It is recommended that attendees wear comfortable walking shoes. Cost for this trip is $20 per person and is open to all ages.
