The House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community’s annual fundraiser golf outing is always action-packed with prizes, fun, and “bragging rights.”
This is an outing that combines the best of everything for any golfer – you don’t have to be Tiger Woods to enjoy yourself!
Scheduled for Monday Sept. 10 at the beautiful Panther Valley Golf & Country Club in Allamuchy, golfers will have the added pleasure of playing as the fall leaves start to turn and enjoy this Robert Trent Jones designed scenic course.
“We really try and make this a event so much more than just another golf outing,” said the House of the Good Shepherd’s Craig Stroud.
Of utmost importance, however is that all of the proceeds from the outing will benefit the Shepherd’s Fund. This fund helps to support those residents who have outlived their financial resources. Because of the generosity of our community, The House of the Good Shepherd has never had to ask anyone to leave due to insufficient funds in its 135 year history.
The day includes breakfast, golf, on course food and beverages, dinner, prizes, and more.
Check in begins at 8:45 a.m., with a shotgun start to the outing at 10. Cost per golfer is $175. Sponsorships and prize donations are graciously accepted.
The House of the Good Shepherd is located in Hackettstown, and offers an array of retirement living arrangements including independent and assisted living, to skilled nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation. For more about The House, visit www.hotgs.org.
