The Hope Township Environmental Commission and Green Team is hosting its 9th annual green fair, “Go Green With Hope” Fair on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Hope Township School, 320 Johnsonburg Road, as well as in the parking lot.

The fair is not just for township residents. It is an environmental education day as well as sustainable spring extravaganza where visitors can investigate and learn about reducing, reusing and recycling in homes and businesses and keeping our neighborhoods green.

There will be an emphasis this year on upcycling ideas and shopping opportunities at our Green Market of local merchants, according to environmental commission chair Monica Sobon, with no free-cycling at this event to compete.
