With a sweeping new tax law taking hold this year there are many questions being posed by businesses and individuals, and how they will be effected.
Edward Portice, CPA with BKC, will help sort through those questions when he is the guest speaker at the Hope Area Chamber of Commerce’s next meeting, Wednesday Feb. 7. The meeting will be held at the Inn at MIllrace Pond in Hope starting at 7 p.m. It is free to attend. Food and beverages available for purchase.
Portice, a chamber board member, will talk about various business changes in the new tax law and also provide information about individual changes as well. Portice is a CPA with the firm, Bedard, Kurowicki & Co.
In addition, chamber board member and Hope Township committeeman, Terry Urfer, will give an overview of the town’s recent re-evaluation program.
The Inn at Millrace Pond is conveniently located off Route 80, Exit 12, 313 Johnsonburg Road.
The meeting is open to chamber and non-chamber members. RSVPs are not necessary.
