It’s going to be endless outdoor fun on Saturday, May 11, when Healthy U Explore Day is hosted at Mountain Villa School in Allamuchy!

Presented by the Allamuchy Township School District, this free event (donations accepted but not required to help further the outdoor education program) is open to the public and invites kids – and parents – of all ages to learn and explore. Rain date is May 19.

Running from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Healthy U Explore Day will include activities for every interest. Aspiring artists can do crafts for Mother’s Day, take a drawing class, or watch an aerial yoga demonstration. Explorers can rock climb, learn about geocaching, or take a guided hike. Athletes might canoe+kayak, take a group fitness class, or try the inflatable obstacle course.

Special guests include the Allamuchy Township Fire Department, who will be providing rescue demonstrations, and Rizzo’s Live Reptile Show.

Healthy food will be available for purchase and goodie bags will be available for the first 100 families!

Mountain Villa School is located at 1686 County Rd 517 in Allamuchy, near the Route 80 on-ramp. To pre-register and for more information, contact outdoored@ues.k12.nj.us.
