The Hackettstown Business Improvement District is accepting nominations for the 2023-24 Board of Directors.

Five seats are available, including three two-year terms for property owners and two two-year terms for business owners. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 18, through an online submission form. To nominate please go to the “2023 HBID Board Nominations” link on the Hackettstown BID website, www.hackettstownbid.com.

Only members in good standing with the Hackettstown BID may make nominations, be nominated, and/or be elected for directorships. A member in good standing is defined as a member whose current property assessment is paid in full. Members may nominate one candidate for each type of director position, and may also nominate themselves as a candidate.

Elections will be conducted via electronic ballot from 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, until 5p m Friday, Dec. 16. Results will be announced, after certification by an attorney, on the BID website, www.hackettstownbid.com, and on WRNJ Radio, Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2023.

Directors will be sworn in during the Hackettstown BID Annual Meeting on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at 4 p.m. For more information contact the HBID office or email director@hackettstownbid.com.
