Washington Borough Mayor Dave Higgins celebrated the opening of barber shops and hair salons on Monday with a “snip here and a snip there” tour of the town’s hair cutting establishments, and even took time out to get his nails worked on! Among those shops he visited were Free Spirit Salon (Annmarie Wilcox in green), Next Level Hair Designs (above, L-R: Lindsey Pantuso, Stephanie Magennis and JoAnn Winters holding the mirror), Andy’s Barber Shop (Kathy Sagers with electric razor) and Cynthia Valle of Hairmazing, working on the Mayor’s nails. The tour also took him to Lina’s Chop Shop & Color Studio where Tarah Best took care of him. He also went to Headliners, Coppers Salon and Creations Unlimited Salon. If you didn’t notice, the Mayor doesn’t have much hair to begin with!
