Hackettstown Medical ‘Commits’ to Parent to Parent

Atlantic Health System (AHS) and Hackettstown Medical Center (HMC) are committed to building healthier communities, beyond simply the delivery of excellent health care in its hospitals, medical practices and facilities. Understanding and supporting the needs of its local community in Warren and Morris counties is a top priority for HMC.

With that in mind, the Community Advisory Board (CAB) of Hackettstown Medical Center was recently pleased to award Debi Natale and Helen Carey, co-directors of Parent to Parent Addiction Services, with an HMC CAB grant that will be used to help provide programs and services for those they serve.

A list of priority health needs in Warren County were identified in the most recent Community Needs Assessment performed by the North Jersey Health Collaborative, in partnership with Hackettstown Medical Center and Atlantic Health System.

This grant awarded to Parent to Parent has met one or more of the identified priority health needs, and will now help Hackettstown Medical Center and Atlantic Health System address these needs.

“We are so thankful for this donation,” said Natale. “This will go a long ways in helping people get the services they need.”

Added Carey, “As we are a volunteer organization, this donation truly makes a difference. We truly appreciate Hackettstown Medical Center and Atlantic Health  System for all they do for our community.”
