For the Atlantic Health System and Hackettstown Medical Center, understanding and supporting the needs of the local community in Warren and western Morris counties is a top priority. They’re committed to building healthier communities, and that commitment extends beyond simply delivering excellent health care in their hospitals, medical practices and facilities.
Toward that end, the Community Advisory Board of Hackettstown Medical Center is once again accepting applications from area organizations seeking grant funding for projects that focus on the health-related needs of the communities Hackettstown Medical Center serves.
In the most recent Community Needs Assessment performed by Hackettstown Medical Center and Atlantic Health System, the following health needs priorities were identified in the service area:
1. Substance Use Disorders
2. Diabetes
3. Need for Mental Health Providers
4. Obesity
5. Preventive Care
If your organization is addressing one or more of these five specific health needs priorities on behalf of the local community, you are invited to apply for a grant to support your efforts.
Grants will be awarded on a case by case basis, under the direction of the Community Advisory Board of Hackettstown Medical Center.
To request a grant application, please email lisa.dimiceli@atlantichealth.org or call 908-850- 6722. The deadline to submit completed applications is Friday, April 24, 2020.
