Hackettstown town employees and other invited guests joined in giving retired Hackettstown Mayor Maria DiGiovanni a fond farewell celebration this past week. As part of the festivities, Assemblyman John DiMaio presented Maria with a joint state resolution recognizing her for her many years of devoted service to the community (pictured). Maria, who last year was named an Outstanding Woman in Municipal Government recipient, retired earlier this month. She will be taking this opportunity to move closer to family.
