Friends of the Hackettstown Library will be hosting a Halloween costume contest fundraiser at Man Skirt Brewing Sunday, October 27 from 12pm-3pm.
“People can dress up and compete to win prizes for a small donation. The Friends are happy to accept
donations from anyone not competing as well. There will be games and spooky fun,” said Amor Principe, Friends member and the person who came up with the idea for the event. There is a $10 suggested donation to participate in the costume contest. “Best of all, everything benefits the library,” Principe continued.
The event will feature the costume contest, Halloween-themed games, and a small book sale in the
taproom of the brewery. Of course, all of this merriment will be paired with the wonderful libations on
offer from Man Skirt Brewing.
“I love the fall and this is a great way to enjoy the season while fundraising for the library,” said
Hackettstown Free Public Library Director Jerry Galante. “Man Skirt owner Joe Fisher is a big advocate
for the library and he and his brewery represent what makes Hackettstown great… that positive sense of community.”
Man Skirt Brewing is located at 144 Main Street in Hackettstown.
