The Hackettstown Public Library is encouraging young children and teens – and adults – to read this summer.
Participants in the reading program will be eligible for great prizes.
The children’s program runs through Aug. 31 while the adult program takes place until Aug. 15.
The Library’s annual summer reading program has been a tradition there for many years, with hundreds, if not thousands of participants over the years.
In addition to the summer reading programs, the Library offers an array of children’s activities throughout the summer including story times, Craft Days, and in August, a Stuffed Animal Campout on Aug. 7, and a Puppet Show Workshop and Performance on Aug. 14 and Aug. 15.
For more information about activities at the Hackettstown Library, stop by at 110 Church Street, Hackettstown, or visit www.hackettstownlibrary.org. The Library is also on Facebook.
