Stephen Gandley, former longtime resident of Hackettstown and member of the Hackettstown Kiwanis Club, was recently presented the Key Club International “Key of Honor” at their International Convention in San Antonio on July 8. This is the highest honor bestowed by Key Club International, recognizing individuals who have gone “above and beyond” to serve the world’s youth. He was honored for 30 years of service to the youth of New Jersey. The nomination was proposed by several present and former Key Club members whom he had influenced and mentored during their Key Club careers and beyond. Gandley was only the fourth person from New Jersey so honored since 1950.
