The Annual Hope Area Chamber of Commerce Candidates Night, the only county-wide candidates night in Warren County, is scheduled for Wed Oct 3, 7 p.m. at the Inn at Millrace Pond in Hope.

Chamber’s format gives each candidate five minutes to present what they will do if elected.   It is not intended as a debate.Candidates are available to answer questions on a one to one basis following the program.

Looking to fill an open seat by retiring Edward Smith, candidates for Warren County Freeholder, (R) Jim Kern and (D) John Massaro, will offer their views on the issues facing the County and its future .

In addition, the lone candidate for Hope Township Committee – and longtime Mayor, Tim McDonough (I), will provide his views on the challenges facing Hope.
