In business just as in athletics, the key to creating an effective team is having a great “coach.” But not everyone fits into the cookie cutter model of a corporate leader. Don’t worry: On Tuesday, July 14, leadership expert Barry McGuire will share how any leadership style can be effective.

Part of Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Builder Workshop Series, this free installment will allow participants to define their leadership style and understand effective ways to use that style to create momentum in their teams.

“How to Build Team Momentum Through Effective Leadership Behaviors” will also allow participants to better understand their role as leader and take away tested methods for motivation.

Free to attend, the workshop will be held simultaneously in-person at Czig Meister Brewing in Hackettstown and via Zoom. In-person seating will be limited to 30 people and registration is required. It will run 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Barry McGuire, an account manager at navitend, has been leading teams in professional and personal capacities for 40 years. From youth sports to business, Barry has gleaned valuable insights into making sure every team member finds their place.
