Three outstanding graduates of Warren County Community College were among several who were recognized at Warren County Community College’s recent Recognition Awards Breakfast.
Among the special award-winners was Kora Flizack-Sloan, who received the President’s Academic Award; Courtney McCottry, who was given the WCCC Foundation Award; and Mahmoud Alminawi, recipient of the Trustees Award. Additionally, two individuals received awards in two different categories: Alexander Sansone (Alumni Association and Veteran) and Allan Martinez (Science and Phi Theta Kappa).
Dr. Will Austin, President of WCCC, noted that the graduate awardees “could have gone anywhere but you chose Warren County Community College. We are glad you did.”
Dr. Phil Linfante, Chair of the WCCC Board of Trustees, declared “We have no doubt that you will succeed. Enjoy your adventure ahead and the many roads that take you there.”
“You make us beam with pride,” added Dr. Marianne Van Deursen, Vice President of Academic Affairs at WCCC.
