Two Warren Hills Choir students were accepted into the NJMEA North Jersey Region I Chorus. Gretchen Fix and Abby Thomas traveled to Paramus High School on Saturday, January 4th to participate in a rigorous audition process among more than 700 other hopeful singers. Gretchen, who is a seasoned Alto and who recently participated in the New Jersey All-State Chorus, earned the second-highest score in her voice part beating over 109 other vocalists. Abby, a soprano who was experiencing her first audition, earned the 9th place score in a field of 108 vocalists. The two will attend several rehearsals throughout the month of January and will perform in a concert open to the public at Morris Knolls High School on Feb. 2 at 4 p.m.
