The Festival in the Borough, the region’s largest music and street festival this year scheduled for Saturday Sept. 23, has announced its musical line-up. The event takes place in Downtown Washington from 10 a.m. til 10 p.m.
Among the “returnees” are the Brian Dean Moore Band, Too Stupid To Quit, and the JerZgirls.
The John Ginty Band, Santana Tribute Band Jingo, national blues acts Above Ground Blues Band, the Skyla Burrell Blues Band, and local favorite Dizaster Horse are among the acts during the festival.
Presented by Visions Federal Credit Union and the Washington Business Improvement District, Festival in the Borough also features kids activities, food, vendors and a beer garden hosted by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
The free event is considered one of the top festivals in the area.
Additional sponsors and support for this year’s event include PNC Bank, Scotty’s Stadium Club, the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission, WRNJ Radio, and Good Impressions Printing & Mailing. The Skylands Songwriters Guild will host the acoustic tent at Gaia’s Gifts.
