Rutherfurd Hall, the historic mansion in Allamuchy Township, will host a full schedule of events this February.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, support local artists and crafters at the Allamuchy Crafters and Artisan Fair. The event will have diverse vendors for a variety of tastes and budgets. Hours TBD.

Laugh the night away on Friday, Feb. 15, as Rutherfurd opens its doors for a stand-up comedy show. Featuring comedians from New York and New Jersey, the event promises to lighten up the winter blues. Tickets are $25 per person, 21 and older only. Doors open at 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m. Cash bar available.

The Live Jazz series continues Sunday, Feb. 17, with David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band Dixieland Jazz. Inspired by the noble jazz pioneers Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton and their colleagues, David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band breathes life and passion into America’s own great art form. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door. The concert runs 3-5 p.m.

This month’s Meditation with Jean Marie, Fostering the Journey, will take place Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. An optional half-hour Gentle Yoga will proceed the class. Tickets are $15 for meditation and $7 for yoga.

Paint night for all ages will be held Thursday, Feb. 21. Kids’ Paint Night will be 6:30-8 p.m.. Children 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Kids paint night is $20. Adult Wine and Paint Night (BYOB) is 7-9 p.m. The painting this month will be of a winter cardinal. $25 per adult. Each class will provide a canvas, paint, Philly Pretzel Platter, and professional instruction.

Rutherfurd Hall is located at 1686 Route 517 in Allamuchy, just off Interstate 80. They are open every Wednesday from 1:00-4:00 pm for tours on the hour.
