‘Family Ties’ At WCC’s Nurse Pinning Ceremony

There is always a “family” touch to each year’s graduating nursing class at Warren Community College. After all, they’ve been working together intently for the past two years to attain their goals.

This year’s graduating class, clearly took the family ties to another level.

Jesus de Leon Mora, graduating this year, follows in the footsteps of his brother, Josue de Leon Mora, who graduated in 2020. Another 2022 graduate, John Seigel, follows the path that his wife Trina took. She graduated in 2007.

Seigel and de Leon Mora are two of the 20 nursing graduates who took part in the College’s pinning ceremony in May.

Citing the challenges many of them faced, Patrica Stypolkowski, MSN-Ed, RN, CNE Executive Director, WCC Nurse Education, beamed, “I am so proud of the Class of 2022. They have successfully completed our nursing program. All four of their semesters were completed during the pandemic. Most of them are healthcare workers and worked while attending the program. Many are parents.”

Already, she noted, “Most of these graduates have been promised RN internships and residencies at Hunterdon Medical Center, St. Luke’s, and Atlantic Healthcare. They are excellent ambassadors of our college.”

The full list of graduates are Kayla Lembeck, Sarah Chaplin, Samantha Clark, Savannah Davenport, Jesus de Leon Mora, Heather Frame, Jessica Groelly, Sarah Huber, Leah LoCollo, Poni Longa, Diandra Molion, Sarah Opitz, Rachel Pagano, Briana Ramirez, John Seigel, Beatriz Silva, Brianne Soga, Clara Stiner, William Thomas, and Anthony Fischer.
