Five story lines heading into the Fall High School Season. Most of them have one thing in common: tough shoes to fill!
- Justin Iaione was a record breaking running back at Warren Hills, tough shoes to fill. Will the Streaks go to the air more this year, or do they have another power back coming through the ranks?
- Hackettstown football, with a new coach, went to a very intriguing triple-option offense last year. Of course, you can’t ask kids to learn a complex offense overnight and get instant results. It will be interesting to see how well they execute it in practices and then see if it makes a substantial impact this year.
- Coming off a sensational championship season, there’s a new field hockey coach at Warren Hills. Talk about tough shoes to fill!
- Hackettstown field hockey has a very good program, too, although it has been in Warren Hills’ shadow. Is this the year they get the upper hand in this local rivalry which has been quite competitive in recent years?
- Another new coach, with a team that has been super for years comes to the Hackettstown boys soccer program.
