Pharmacy Technicians provide a vital role in the medical field; The Pharmacy Tech program, which meets twice a week beginning Sept. 24, prepares students for certification and to work in a range of pharmacy settings. Phlebotomists are always in demand and WCCC’s Certified Phlebotomy Technician program, which begins Oct. 7, prepares students for employment opportunities through classroom and lab hours. The 70-hour comprehensive Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Aide Program, starting Oct. 1, prepares students to enter the field of rehabilitation, assisting physical therapists in both outpatient and facility-based services.

Healthcare professionals looking to enhance their skills may be interested in the EKG/Telemetry Skills for Healthcare Professionals, running Thursdays Oct. 17-31, or the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, catered to those both in- and out- of hospital settings.

Not ready to start this semester? Start planning ahead! The Certified Nursing Assistant program requires six weeks for the application process to be completed.
