Evenings Are A Transformation of Something Special

I think we can all agree that there is just something special about the EVENING time of day! A time of fluid, yet ever gentle, transformation, a transformation, if you will, whereabouts, Mother Nature is bidding adieu, to the last part of the day, all the while peacefully ushering in, the early part of the night. These ‘evening transformations’ always involve, an ever-changing and wondrous blending of light and sounds, acting in a perfect chaotic, yet peaceful, unison, as only Mother Nature can do.

And so, with that I turn to Saturday – April 9^th: Tonight’s photos came about quite by chance! I am leaving my house on Kestrel Lane, Allamuchy, about 6:30 p.m. Will drive over to Panther Valley Mall and meet Anne Marie who is going to get me a couple of slices of pizza for dinner. (NOTE: I am on 4-day pre-surgery Covid quarantine and she will assist me by bringing my meal to my car. Having a right hip replacement).

Back to my story, this all began upon opening the car door in my driveway. I can’t help but notice the LOUD CHORUS of birds, WOW, I immediately decide to make a short video, to showcase the SOUNDS! Then I begin to notice and appreciate the multitude of colors and shades of the waning sunlight while making the video. I take some additional photos and depart. Driving over to the mall I’m musing, “It always amazes me how different the sunlight can be at this time of day, especially on days after storms, when all the particles and haze has been washed literally from the atmosphere!”

Returning home, traveling down Youngs Island Road, I notice the sun is now behind clouds just above the horizon and I begin to take some photos of the scene. I notice some Canada Geese in the flooded fields and take some close-up photos of the Geese. While taking these close-ups, a fox quickly runs through the picture. (Didn’t have time to switch over and begin a video – this fox was in a hurry!) **OBSERVATION – Really quite Special Moments, when Nature surprises you with gifts, while you are already enjoying and looking at something else!**

Arriving home and decide to make a comparative ‘Sound Video’ from the same area as my earlier video, I have noticed a definite change in the chorus members so I am anxious to hear the results! Turn up your volume and enjoy! Listen carefully for the different sounds of about an hour later!
