The Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce’s February Lunch ‘N Learn focuses on Creating a Healthy Workplace through ergonomics.
The luncheon is set for Tuesday Feb. 27 at Enzo’s Pizza & Restaurant, Route 46, Budd Lake, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
“Ergonomics, Creating a Healthy Workplace” is the title of the February lunch, featuring speaker Dr. James Fedich of Village Family Clinic in Allamuchy.
According to Dr. Fedich, “Sitting is the new smoking in 2018 and we all spend too much time at our desks.”
This practical and engaging presentation will include actionable steps to create a healthier, happier workplace. Discussions of proper desk setup, stretches, techniques to minimize the stress on your body of days at a desk. Attendees will walk away with simple and no cost techniques to make one more productive, feel better and live pain free!

This is one of several of the Chamber’s regular events each month. Marketing in the Morning, a complimentary benefit to members of the Chamber, takes place the 3rd Wednesday morning of every month from 7:15 to 9 a.m. Pre-registration is not required. YOUNG PROFESSIONALS TO MEET AT HOMEBREW
The MOACC Young Professionals Group is open to members and non-members as a way to make new business connections! Attendees are advised to bring plenty of business cards and be prepared to expand one’s business network and make new contacts with fellow young professionals in the area. The group’s next meeting is Thursday March 1st at Homebrew University in Hackettstown from 5:30-7:30 p.m. where attendees will learn about qualities of different beers and how they compare in flavor and characteristics, – and make beer. Cost is $15 for members, $20 for non-members. As a follow up the group will enjoy their beer at its April 5 meeting at The Graphix Spot in Budd Lake.
