Ellen Petroski-Perkins, owner of Gaia’s Gifts, was elected President of the Washington Business Improvement District’s Executive Board at the organization’s monthly meeting in January. Perkins had been serving as the board’s Interim President.
Additionally, Jeff Smith of Smith Motors was re-elected Treasurer. and Michael F. Yates of Michael F. Yates & Company, continues as the group’s Secretary for the third straight year.
Vincent Iannelli of Pasta Grill by Enzo in Washington was selected First Vice President and developer Ray Rice was chosen Second Vice President. Joining the board is its newest member, Ajay Gaglani, owner of William’s Tavern. Gaglani was elected in to the board by the membership in November. Returning to the board after a short hiatus is Greg Fliegauf of Fliegauf Jewelers.
“We have a great team in place,” said Petroski-Perkins. “We are committed to working hard for our business community and the community at-large. We’ve got a lot of great new ideas and programs in the mix for 2019. We look forward to many good things moving forward.”
