Reading on a Kindle or similar device is convenient. It doesn’t require an external light that can annoy a housemate. And, there is only the Kindle to carry around, not a stack of heavy books.

But people of a certain age may be intimidated by the technology.

The Warren County Library is presenting a Zoom program on downloadable eBooks to take some of the mystery out of it. The program is scheduled for today, Wednesday, July 28, at 11 a.m., presented by Lori Wascavage. To register, call Lori at 908-818-1280 or loriw@warrenlib.org.

Thursday, Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. Gary Winstrup will present the program with performance clips and interviews and will talk about their career from the early years of surfing music to Pet Sounds, the years 1962 to 1967.
