The Oxford Emergency Squad received a very nice present to start off National EMS week, which ran May 16-22. Tilcon Oxford Quarry, a division of Tilcon New York, donated $5,000 towards the purchase of new turnout gear and helmets for the squad. The squad uses the turnout gear when responding to motor vehicle accidents and fires. Tilcon’s donation has allowed them to start the process of replacing their existing turnout gear, which has reached the end of its useful life.
