The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center is seeking donations for clients who lost belongings in a recent fire in the shelter.

At present the group is asking for Visa/Mastercard gift cards, hopefully in the amount of $25. Jill Zinckgraf, executive director, of the DASACC, said as future needs become clear the group will be asking for further support.

She said clients and staff in the building were evacuated and are safe at other sites but there was significant damage to portions of the building, and it is unusable at present. There is no estimate of the time it will take to repair.
