The Warren County Library is presenting a Zoom session of information on COVID-19 and how vaccines work on Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 6:30 p.m.
Presenter is Gina-Marie Mendez, MPA community outreach health educator, of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ.
Mendez will review the three available vaccine options, the different variants of concern, why booster vaccinations are recommended, as well as any current FDA/CDC recommendations. Fun Stories For Kids
A Zoom program for preschool children age 3 and up will provide storytime through January.
The storytimes will run on Thursdays at 11 a.m. On Jan. 6, the topic will be Penguin Palooza; on Jan. 13, World of Insects; on Jan. 20, Welcome Winter and Snow, and on Jan. 27, All About Applies.
The storytime is designed to strengthen early literacy through fun stories, songs, and crafts. Register to receive the Zoom link and supplies on the library website, warrenlib.org.
