Warren County Community Singers (WCCS) will present their annual showcase, Cabaret Cafe, on Saturday, Oct. 8.
This year’s theme is “Sing Me a Love Song.” Soloists and small groups will perform their favorite love songs accompanied by Hunter Chadeayne, WCCS director, Ann Hoyt, associate director, and Bob Riday, former director.
The show will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, in the fellowship hall, 300 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg. The showcase will begin at 7 p.m.
A suggested donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children will include the showcase, home baked desserts, and coffee.
WCCS is a non-audition group that rehearses from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each Tuesday from September through April in the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. Concerts are the first weekends of December and May. New voices are always welcome. Members range in age from high school students to retirees.
The Community Singers are partially funded through a grant from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
