A new virtual session of CodingWithKids will entertain boys and girls in grades 3-6 this fall!
Hosted by the Computer Science department at Warren Hills, this fun, free to attend program teaches important coding skills in an engaging virtual environment.
Running from Nov. 13 to Dec. 11, coding will be learned through weekly office hours, during which high school students will help small groups of elementary students learn coding through the Scratch program. This scheduling allows for flexibility to accommodate as many families as possible. The program will also include an opening ceremony on Nov. 13 and a closing ceremony on Dec. 11.
Kids who take part can expect to learn new coding skills, create interesting programs, win prizes, solve logic problems, and participate in a virtual escape room!
Students must have access to a laptop or desktop with internet and a Gmail account to access the program. Families can register until Nov. 10 here.
