‘Extra, Extra, See All About It!!’ –  ‘Mother Nature’s Display of Autumn Colors’ is coming to your neighborhood!! Plan for some beautiful Autumn Road Trips ‘Inside Warren’!!

Charlie Fineran’s PHOTO OF THE WEEK is all about the colors:  Autumn hues of foliage are softly high-lighted by ever changing splashes of sunrays, darting through fast moving clouds beaming down onto this Delaware Water Gap panorama!  This photo is from an overlook along the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, facing east looking into the Gap.  Mount Tammany in New Jersey is on the left and Mount Minsi is on your right.  Hope this photo serves as a beautiful advisory about the upcoming ‘Show of Autumn Colors’!!

Take your Family, grab a friend or fly solo, it is always a fun, enjoyable COLORFUL adventure!!  Remember, it doesn’t even have to be a trip, just “Slow it down a little”,  “Take time to look around” “Be a little more focused and observant” , I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with the show!!  IMPORTANT:  Keep in mind – We are talking about ‘Inside Warren’ some really beautiful country!!

NOTE: I’m not going to guarantee it, but you might also lower your BLOOD PRESSURE!!  Nature’s Color Show, never lets up during your travels, thus, your focus on COLOR overshadows and transcends all your other concerns =s a relaxing enjoyable beautiful journey!!

The various sites for this message are located within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Worthington State Forest both of which border along the beautiful Delaware River.  Worthington State Forest is within the DWGNRA, as it is surrounded by it on three sides!

NOTE:  these are photos on file, not current conditions out this way!!  I mention this because I have had some ‘close calls’ with some earlier emails!  I had sent some photos and then received some responses with remarks like, ” I didn’t  realize just how far ahead of us your seasons are!!”  In that one case, I had some snow photos that I threw in, ‘ just for some contrast ‘ and my friend was getting ready to head out this way!!  You are by all means welcome to come out BUT we still have a ways to go for color!!

I have tried to pick photos with Fall Colors, but, I am also trying to give you some ideas of popular places within those Parks and while my photos were taken in the Fall some are not your spectacular height of the season shots!

These are some of my favorite places, but the really neat thing about Autumn is, all places with trees and plants are transformed, so the show actually comes to you!!  You just need to look around and get yourself in the mood to appreciate!!
