Many people have been witness to sexual harassment, a topic that has recently moved to the forefront of national discussion, and harassment within the workplace is among those common threads. Join the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce on June 25 to discuss this important issue.
Having an open discussion about workplace harassment is significant for everyone, not just those who are victims or perpetrators of such behavior, says Jill Zinckgraf, MPA, Executive Director of the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County, who will lead the facilitated discussion.
“The New Workplace Rules—Avoiding Compromising Situations” will be held Tuesday, June 25, from 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Enzo’s Ristorante & Pizzeria, 382 US-46 in Budd Lake.
The meeting will examine cultural and social constructs surrounding sexual harassment and gender discrimination, how they’ve changed over the years, what they mean, and why they are significant for the entire workplace. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
Tickets are $18 in advance for MOACC members and $25 at the door, or $23 advance for non-members and $30 at the door. Registration includes a light lunch. Reserve your spot today at www.mountolivechambernj.com.
