After 37-plus years with NORWESCAP, Executive Director Terry Neward decided it was time. His career has been focused on the struggles of under-resourced families. Working as an educator in a prison, running a community center and facilitating community development in low income neighborhoods, he knows firsthand the challenges and rewards of attempting to equalize the effects of poverty on the individual and on the community. As CEO of NORWESCAP, Terry guided the organization with a vision, passion and dedication to achieve NORWESCAP’s goals of creating opportunities and changing lives. He believes that all individuals should have the opportunity to thrive.
Terry has been married to his wife Suzanne for over 40 years, has three amazing children and just became a grandfather. He plays different sports every day and teaches spin class three days a week. He has become a painter and has had a few shows. He plans to travel out west, work on Congressional campaigns, volunteer at national parks, Head Start and animal rescue; all balanced with sports, painting and grandkids.
