With the one-year anniversary of the first COVID-19 vaccine doses being administered in New Jersey, Warren County is joining the state in marking Boost NJ Day on Wednesday, December 15.  

According to NJ Department of Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli, as of December 8, 2021 only 34 percent of New Jersey’s 4.5 million residents who are eligible for COVID-19 booster shots had received one. With a significant rise in the number of cases and the new variant, Omicron, threatening our area, it is more important than ever to receive your booster shot. 

If you are at least 18 years old and it has been six months since your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months since your J&J/Janssen vaccine, it is time to get your booster shot. As protection from the vaccines wanes over time, it is more important than ever to get a booster vaccine. 

The Warren County Health Department is offering the Moderna and J&J/Janssen booster vaccines.  Boost your immunity today by scheduling an appointment at www.warrencountynjvaccination.org.
