Get ready to Jitterbug and Boogie Woogie because WNTI.ORG is hosting its annual 50s and 60s-themed “Boogie Bash” on Sunday, April 10.
This popular fundraiser for Hackettstown’s web-based radio station runs from 5 to 9 p.m. at the legendary Stanhope House. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person with food and beverages available for purchase.
Attendees are advised to “dress to impress,” so dust off those poodle skirts and leather jackets, then practice saying things like “Come on snake, let’s rattle!” and “Look at that cat in the chrome-plated chariot” so you can truly get into the spirit.
Don’t forget to refresh yourself on the jitterbug; the Jitterbug Contest is an annual favorite at the event.
Music will be provided by The Golden Gup, New Jersey’s premier golden oldies DJ, and the three-piece Rhythmhancers, enhancing the dance with a live music feel.
“Boogie Bash” is presented by WNTI.ORG and Happy Foot, the Guppy Lu Productions.
