Saturday Night Lineup, Location Changes
Due to an unforeseen medical issue, Kim Simmonds and Savoy Brown will no longer be able to play at the upcoming Blues Bash ’16. In light of the last-minute change, organizers have announced an updated – but still talent-fueled – lineup for Saturday night, March 19, (see below) that will be held at Marley’s Gotham Grill on Main Street, Hackettstown instead of the original location at Centenary College.
Andy Goessling and Bill Kelly, known locally and nationally, will act as the headliners for Saturday. Tickets will be available at the door for only $10.
Friday Continues As Scheduled With Mega-star Edgar Winter
Friday night, March 18, featuring headliner Edgar Winter, will continue as previously announced. The evening of Blues will run from 7:30-11 p.m. in the Sitnik Theater at Centenary College. Doors open at 7 p.m. A pre-show will precede the main acts at Marley’s. Edgar Winter, known for his mega-hits “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride,” will also be playing a tribute to his brother, Johnny Winter, who passed away recently. Johnny performed at the Blues Bash in 2013. The Friday night lineup also now includes Bob Lanza, as well as North Carolina-based Red Dirt Revelators.
Tickets are still available for the Friday night show.
