The Sustainably Green Arts & Music Festival in Washington on June 18 was an ideal an ideal time to present a First Place National Garden Club Award Certificate to Aubrianna Bergstresser, a Youth Gardener at the Karen Nash Memorial Butterfly Garden of Memorial School. Abrianna won the First Place Award for her grade level in the National Woodsy Owl Poster Contest sponsored by the US Forest Service and the National Garden Club, Inc. 

The award was presented in the Kids’ Courtyard on Broad Street by Gaias Gifts at the Midtown Plaza with Smokey Bear and Section Forest Fire Warden, Rob Kerschner.  Woodsy Owl has a slogan, “Lend a Hand, Care for the Land.”
