A unique fundraiser that benefits rescued farm animals is all set for Sunday July 23.
With The Brian Dean Moore Band, Electric Gumbo, and Paul DiGiorgio providing the music, vendors offering an array of products, and food, wine beer and soda available, the first annual Rock It For the Barnyard Sanctuary concert is slated for the Inn at Millrace Pond in Hope from 1-6 p.m.
The event, which will be held under the Big Tent at the Inn, is sponsored in part by WXPN Radio.
All proceeds from the day will be presented directly to The Barnyard Sanctuary located in Columbia. The Barnyard Sanctuary currently houses over 700 rescued farm animals such as cows, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, donkeys, horses, and goats, among others, that have lost their homes, that have been abandoned, or that have been saved from cruelty and/or slaughter situations.
