The Washington Borough (Warren County) Farmers’ Market prides itself on being more than just another Farmers’ Market. As part of its weekly market, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every Saturday through the end of October, there are theme days and music to enjoy while shopping.
The market is located in downtown Washington Borough, with its anchor in the Pocket Park at 44 E. Washington Avenue (Route 57).
August’s line-up is quite busy with Veggie Fest, Aug. 3, Banjo pickin’ with Brian Kathenes & Friends, Aug. 10, Military Appreciation Day, Aug. 17, and Beach Day with DJ Mitch Hess, Aug. 24. September features Health & Wellness Day, the Festival in the Borough, an Apple Baking Contest and Pet Appreciation Day.
There’s always something different every week at the Farmers’ Market!
Vendors this year include several local farmers and produce vendors, Dandy Lion Acres Farm (farm fresh eggs, hanging baskets and plants, fresh produce), Greenbytes Farm (local honey, fresh and sundried herbs), Maxwell’s Farm (seasonal vegetables), Stone Row Acres Farm (fresh cut and dried flowers, succulents, handcrafted items), and Zip’s Fresh Produce (Jersey fresh produce).
