Basic EMT Course Starts in January

Starting a career as an EMT? Warren County Community College is offering a basic EMT course that meets the requirements of the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration’s Emergency Medical Technician-Basic: National Standard Curriculum.

Classes are scheduled to make it easier for those with jobs to attend in the evenings. Courses run from January 12 through May 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the WCCC Phillipsburg Education Center, 445 Marshall Street.

Prior to enrolling students must have proof of current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator certification at the healthcare and professional level by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute National Safety Council, or Emergency Care and Safety Institute.
