Assemblyman John DiMaio, who presents the 23rd District in the New Jersey General Assembly, which includes Washington Borough, will be the featured speaker at the Thursday Aug. 10 Washington Business Improvement District’s monthly Lunch ‘N Learn.
Each month the WBID presents Lunch ‘N Learns with timely topics. Assemblyman DiMaio will update attendees on important happenings in Trenton, ranging from the recently passed budget to issues involving businesses.
Most recently, DiMaio was appointed to the New Jersey Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee. DiMaio is also the Appropriations Officer of the Assembly Appropriations Committee, as well as a member of the vital Assembly Budget Committee. As a freeholder he formerly served on the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority. That Authority’s goals are to link transportation planning with safety and security, economic growth, environmental protection, growth management, and quality of life goals.
The Lunch & Learn is scheduled for Thursday August 10 starting at 11:45 at Pasta Grill by Enzo, Route 57, Washington. There will be ample time for both the presentation and questions and answers. The event is open to the Greater Business Community and the public at-large.
