To launch a new exhibit at M Galleries PNA this month, Anna Ryabtsov wanted to tie the art and wellness themes of her landscape photography in “Bluescapes” into the gallery opening by hosting an Art & Wellness Event. It will take place this Saturday, June 5, 3-6 p.m.
“The idea is to create an event during the opening that would give viewers a peaceful, relaxing and Covid-friendly experience instead of simply just coming to see artwork,” the artist said. “The backbone of my landscape photography focuses on physical/mental wellness and meditation.”
Three licensed yoga teachers will lead donation-based classes on the lawn of the gallery for all skill levels, no experience necessary. An essential oil specialist that focuses on clean living through plants, herbs and oils will also be on hand. She will have an Itovi scanner with her, which scans your body and detects what oils/plants you need.
Refreshments will be provided, and children and pets are welcome. The site is wheelchair accessible.
Anna’s work will be up all month in the gallery, which is currently open Wednesday through Sunday by appointment only. Make an appointment here.
The M Galleries PNA is located in the Pohatcong Native Arboretum at 54 Mine Hill Road, Washington.
