Project Self-Sufficiency will host a free, virtual bankruptcy seminar, Thursday, March 10, at 6 p.m.
Participants will discuss the process of filing for bankruptcy, as well as the options available to those facing overwhelming credit card debt, foreclosure, or asset repossession. The free legal education seminar is a program of the Sussex County Family Success Center.at Project Self-Sufficiency. The presentation is free and open to the public; interested participants must call Project Self-Sufficiency at 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500 to obtain log-in information.
Project Self-Sufficiency then presents a virtual family law seminar on Thursday, March 17, at 6 p.m., featuring attorney Michele Olenick.
Participants will discuss child support, grounds for divorce, court procedures, alimony, parenting time, equitable distribution of assets, and other topics related to divorce. The Zoom presentation, which will be offered through is free and open to the public; interested attendees should call Project Self-Sufficiency at 973-940-3500 for log-in details.
The agency’s legal seminar series is a program of the Sussex County Family Success Center at Project Self-Sufficiency and is open to Northern Warren County residents. It is funded by the state Department of Children and Families.
