Vehicles, office equipment, accessories, and even a piano are up on the auction block at Warren County’s annual auction of surplus government property on Saturday, Sept. 8.
The auction will take place at the Warren County Road Division Garage, 185 County Route 519 South in White Township. First auction begins at 10 a.m.
Preview periods will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7, and the day of beginning at 8 a.m.
Going under the auctioneer’s gavel are surplus county vehicles and prosecutor seizures, including multiple dump trucks, buses, Dodge Durangos, a ‘04 Chevy Impala, ‘75 Mack fire truck, ‘03 Dodge Dakota, ‘00 Ford Explorer, and ‘11 Ford Crown Victoria.
Other items–both surplus government property and items seized by the Prosecutor’s Office–include heavy equipment, furniture, and office equipment and accessories such as keyboards, typewriters, copiers, desks, chairs, and file cabinets, as well as tractors, lawn equipment, mowers, bicycles, tools, jewelry, cellular phones, movies, and a sewing machine. There’s even a piano!
