Warren Hills Regional High School Senior Allison Weissman recently received an Honorable Mention in the statewide Scholastic Art and Writing Competition for her editorial cartoon called “Make America Green Again.” Over 4.200 students entered work in the competition.  She will be honored at the Scholastic Award Ceremony at the Montclair Art Museum on February 15th.

The 17-year old Weissman, who lives in Mansfield Township, takes part in Warren Hills’ AP Art, plays Bass Clarinet, Clarinet, and Tenor Saxophone in the marching band, jazz ensemble, wind ensemble, and pit orchestra. In addition, she is on the Swim Team, is a S.A.V.E. Club Member, and received the Gold Award for her work with the Girls Scouts.
