Nineteenth-century London will fill the Lackland Performing Arts Center this holiday season with an all new adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic “A Christmas Carol” from Stephen Temperley.

Temperley’s “A Christmas Carol” recaptures the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas with this timeless and ghostly Dickens classic featuring all the favorite characters—Tiny Tim and the Cratchit family, the Fezziwigs, the Ghosts of Christmas past, present and yet-to-come—and, of course, the curmudgeon, Ebenezer Scrooge. While not a musical, this play does feature original orchestration, as well as carolers and musicians.

The production is directed and led by Centenary Stage Company’s own award-winning Artistic Director, Carl Wallnau, who is also featured as Ebenezer Scrooge.

Performances run Nov. 27-Dec. 13. Tickets start at $15 for children/students, $22.50 seniors, and $25 adults. To see a full list of times, dates, and prices, and to purchase tickets, please visit centenarystageco.org, or call the box office at 908-979-0900.

The Sitnik Theatre is located at 715 Grand Ave., Hackettstown, on the campus of Centenary University.
